How does Capital Critic track prop firm rule changes?
Fine Print is a changelog of the terms prop firms publish and then revise. Every firm we monitor has its public pages — pricing, account specifications, trading rules and help-centre answers — re-crawled daily and stored as an immutable version. When a page changes, the new version is compared against the previous one and the changed text is extracted.
A change is only published after a person reviews it. Detection decides what to look at; a human decides what is worth telling traders and writes the summary line. Page moves, retitles and marketing copy are recorded but never published.
Every published entry keeps the exact wording from before and after the change, the date it was detected, and a link to the firm's own page. Capital Critic monitors 43 prop firms and has published 243 changes since .
