Review Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Reviews on Capital Critic come from traders describing their own experience with a prop firm. Our team checks every review before it goes live. This page covers what we publish, what we don’t, and what happens after a review is published.
The rules
- No racism. Nothing that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality or disability.
- No harassment. No threats, abuse or personal attacks on firm staff, other traders or anyone else, and no sharing someone's private details.
- No advertising. Don't promote any product or service: no other firms, signal groups, courses, trading tools, affiliate links or referral codes.
- No defamation. Describe what happened to you. Don't state things you can't back up as fact, such as accusing a firm or a person of a crime.
- No spam. One honest review of a firm every 3 days, about your own experience. No copied text, fake reviews, or reviews posted for someone else.
If you break these rules, we may remove your review and suspend your account.
Proof
You can attach a screenshot (PNG or JPEG) that supports your review, such as a payout confirmation, your account dashboard or a support conversation. When our team has checked it, the review is marked as verified.
We may also ask for proof, before or after a review is published. This is most likely for reviews about a denied payout or a breached account. If we can’t confirm the experience, we may hold the review back.
Cover account numbers, email addresses, wallet addresses and other personal details before you upload. Proof is seen only by our team and is never published.
When the score doesn't match the review
Sometimes a score and the words don’t line up. A review might say everything went well and still give 1 star. This is usually a slip, and it is unfair to both the reviewer and the firm.
If your score doesn’t match what you wrote, we may ask you to check it. Until it’s fixed, we may leave that rating out of the firm’s average. Your written review can still be published.
Opinions and facts
Your experience and your opinion are yours to share. “Support took four days to answer” or “the consistency rule is too strict” stays up, even if the firm disagrees.
Statements of fact have to be accurate. If a firm shows us that a claim in a review is wrong, we will ask the reviewer about it and may correct or remove that part.
Firms can reply and flag
Firms can reply to reviews publicly. They can also flag a review they believe breaks this policy, for example if the reviewer was never a customer or the review contains a false claim. A flag starts a check. It does not remove a review on its own. We look at both sides and may contact the reviewer before we decide.
Independence
Some links on Capital Critic are affiliate links. Commercial relationships never decide which reviews we publish, remove or flag, or how a firm’s rating is calculated. Every firm’s reviews go through the same process.
Reviews are the reviewer's view
Reviews reflect the experience and opinion of the trader who wrote them, not Capital Critic’s assessment of a firm. We check reviews against this policy, but we can’t confirm every detail of every experience. Use reviews as one input and read the firm’s own rules before you buy a challenge.
How we moderate
Every review is read by a person before it is published. We may decline, hold back or remove a review that breaks this policy, and we may ask you to change it first.
We also run checks for fake and coordinated reviews, such as copied text, unusual submission patterns and repeat accounts. We don’t publish the details of these checks, because that would make them easier to get around.
Our decision on whether a review is published is final. If you think we got it wrong, email [email protected].
