What changed on Stellar Lite on 12 October 2026?

FundedNext Stellar Lite changes on 12 October 2026: minimum trading days 5 to 2 per phase, payouts every 10 business days, $5K offer at $29.99

FundedNext cut Stellar Lite's minimum trading days from 5 to 2 per phase and shortened its standard payout cycle to 10 business days, for every account bought or reset on or after 12 October 2026. Accounts bought before that date keep the old rules: 5 days per phase, a first payout after 21 days and then every 14 days.

Two details are easy to miss. The 5-day minimum still applies if you choose the 3-day or on-demand payout structure, according to FundedNext's Stellar Lite rules. And the checkout card we saw on 13 October still listed "5 Days" under minimum trading days, so check the figure on your own checkout before you pay. In the same week FundedNext also put the $5K Stellar Lite on offer at $29.99; our Fine Print tracker logs every change like this on the firm's own pages.

The effect is a faster route to the first payout. Under the old rules, the quickest path was 10 trading days to pass plus 21 days before the first reward. Under the new rules it is 4 trading days to pass plus a 10-business-day cycle.

How do you pass the Stellar Lite challenge?

Stellar Lite rules by phase. Source: FundedNext help centre, 13 Oct 2026.

To pass Stellar Lite you make 8% in Phase 1 and 4% in Phase 2, trading on at least 2 separate days in each, without losing 4% in a day or 8% in total. On a $100K account that means $8,000 and then $4,000, with a daily limit of $4,000 and a balance floor of $92,000.

  1. Phase 1: reach $8,000 profit over at least 2 trading days. Phase 2 is issued at the end of that trading day.
  2. Phase 2: reach $4,000 profit over at least 2 more days.
  3. Sign the agreement and complete KYC with a photo ID and a liveness check, reviewed in about 48 hours.
  4. Pass FundedNext's risk review and receive the FundedNext Account.

The daily limit is measured from the initial balance, counts floating losses, swaps and commissions, and resets at 00:00 server time; profit made earlier in the day adds to it. The 8% floor never moves, so profit builds a cushion above it. Traders who want more room can buy the Maximum Loss Limit 10% add-on (+25% on the fee). There is no time limit on either phase, and a breached Phase 2 reset sends you back to a new Phase 1.

How do Stellar Lite payouts work?

Stellar Lite now pays every 10 business days on the standard structure.

On the funded account, Stellar Lite pays 80% of account growth at the end of each 10-business-day cycle in which the account is in profit. Two alternative structures exist, chosen at purchase and fixed afterwards: a "3 profitable days" option paying 60% and an on-demand option paying 90% once the account is up 2% with no single day above 40% of profit.

Payout structureWhen you can withdrawReward share
Standard (10-day cycle)End of each 10-business-day cycle in profit80%
3 profitable daysAfter 3 days of at least 1% profit each60%
On-demandAt 2% growth, best day no more than 40% of profit90%
Lifetime Reward 95% add-onAny structure95%

Lite gives up two perks the other Stellar challenges carry. There is no 15% reward from the challenge phase, and the challenge fee is refunded only with your third performance reward rather than the first. Scaling follows FundedNext's regular plan rather than FundedNext Pro: 10% growth over four months with at least two rewards earns a 40% balance increase. Payouts go out by USDT, USDC, Confirmo, RiseWorks, bank transfer, card or FNmarkets.

Our tracker recorded $14,074,772 across 8,875 FundedNext payouts in the 30 days to 13 October 2026, firm-wide across CFD and futures. That is a verified on-chain floor; bank and card payouts are not counted. See the FundedNext payouts page for the daily breakdown.

Which Stellar Lite rules cost traders money?

Read the news, risk and Quick Strike rules before your first funded trade.

On the funded account, four rules cause more deductions and breaches than the loss limits:

  • News window: only 40% of the profit from trades within 5 minutes either side of a high-impact release counts on the funded account. Losses count in full; challenge phases are exempt.
  • 3% open risk: potential loss across open trades may not exceed 3% of the initial balance. A second breach permanently cuts the account's limit to 1%.
  • Quick Strike: trades closed within 30 seconds may not reach 30% of a cycle's profit.
  • EAs below $50K: expert advisors are allowed on the $5K to $25K sizes only.

Copy trading is allowed between your own challenge accounts, never on a funded account or with another person. Two funded Lite accounts can be merged up to $200,000, but a merged or scaled account cannot be merged again.

Verdict

Stellar Lite is now the most practical FundedNext challenge for most traders on a budget. The 12 October changes removed its biggest drawback, the long wait: 2 days per phase and a 10-business-day cycle put the first payout within reach in about three weeks. The price stays the lowest in the Stellar range, about 27% below Stellar 2-Step at $100K. What you give up is margin for error and extras: an 8% floor instead of 10%, a 4% daily limit instead of 5%, no 15% challenge reward and a refund that waits for the third payout. If your drawdowns stay shallow, those trade-offs cost little. If they run deep, the 10% loss add-on or Stellar 2-Step is the better buy. For the full range, see our FundedNext review and our Stellar 1-Step guide.
