The Free Trial gives you a live MT5 trading environment that mirrors
the 2 Step Standard or 2 Step Pro model, at no cost. Both phases
of the
evaluation are available; profit targets and trading rules match
the real model exactly. There is no profit entitlement and no
path to a Master Account.

- **14-day per-phase time limit:** Each phase expires
14 calendar days after activation.

- **Account sizes:** Standard account sizes are available.

What account sizes are available on the Free Trial?

The Free Trial is available across all standard account sizes
for both models. Accounts are denominated in USD only. No
multi-currency option is available.

2 Step Standard Trial

The $200K size is available on the 2 Step Pro Trial only.

How does the 14-day time limit work?

The 14-day period applies **per phase** and
starts the moment that phase is activated. It counts calendar
days, not trading days. Weekends count. When the 14 days
are up, the phase closes automatically regardless of your
trading performance. Phase 1 and Phase 2 each receive their
own 14-day window.

When can I open another Free Trial?

You can hold one Free Trial account at a time, and only
when you have **no active accounts**.
The Free Trial cannot run alongside any paid evaluation,

Master, giveaway, or competition accounts. Once your current
trial ends, you can
open a new one. A trial ends when you breach a loss limit,
the 14-day period expires, or you pass the trading objectives
for the selected model.

There is no overall limit on the total number of Free Trial
accounts you can take over time, provided you continue to
have no active accounts when each new trial starts.

How is the 2 Step Standard Daily Loss Limit calculated?

**Daily Loss Limit: 5%** of the higher value
between your opening balance or opening equity for that day.

At the start of each trading day, the system records both
your balance and your equity. Whichever is higher becomes
the baseline. Your equity cannot fall more than 5% of that
baseline at any point during the day, including floating
losses from open trades. The limit resets at 00:00 Platform
Time (UTC+3).

Opening balance: $100K

Opening equity: $99K

Baseline = $100K

5% = $5K. Floor:

How is the 2 Step Standard Max Loss Limit calculated?

**Max Loss Limit: 10%** of the starting
account size.

Your equity or balance cannot touch this level at any point
during the trial, including floating losses from open trades.

10% of $100K = $10K. Your equity or balance cannot
drop to **$90K** at
any point.

How is the 2 Step Pro Daily Loss Limit calculated?

**Daily Loss Limit: 3%** of the higher value
between your opening balance or opening equity for that day.

At the start of each trading day, the system records both
your balance and your equity. Whichever is higher becomes
the baseline. Your equity cannot fall more than 3% of that
baseline at any point during the day, including floating
losses from open trades. The limit resets at 00:00 Platform

How is the 2 Step Pro Max Loss Limit calculated?

**Max Loss Limit: 6%** of the starting account
size.

Your equity or balance cannot touch this level at any point

## Available Models

The Free Trial is available on two models. The model you choose
sets your loss limits and profit targets for the full trial. Both
Phase 1 and Phase 2 are available, with 14 calendar days per phase.
Profit targets and trading rules match the real model exactly.
There is no path to a Master Account on either trial.

No Profits, No Master Account

Any profits generated during the Free Trial aren't eligible for reward
request. The
trial cannot be converted into a real Evaluation Account or a Master
Account under any circumstances.

## Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as a Spread Test account?

No. Unlike a Spread Test account, the Free Trial lets you
perform actual trading in a simulated environment with
live market conditions, not just observe spreads. You can
open, manage, and close positions just as you would in
a real evaluation.

Do I need a FundingPips account before I can start the Free Trial?

No prior account is required. You can start the Free Trial
through a quick sign-up that creates the account as part
of the process. You only need your name and email. No credit
card, no identity documents, no waiting period. If you already
have a FundingPips account, sign in and start the trial directly
from your dashboard, as long as you don't have any other
active trading accounts.

What happens if I breach before the 14 days are up?

If your account breaches a loss limit before the 14-day period
ends, the account closes immediately at that point. You can
open a new trial right away, provided you still have no active

accounts; you do not need to wait for the original 14
days to elapse.

Can I pause or extend the trial?

No. The timer runs continuously from activation and cannot
be paused, extended, or reset.

Are there any trading objectives or goals?

Yes. Profit targets and minimum trading days match the real
model exactly: 8% for 2 Step Standard Phase 1, 5%
for 2 Step Standard
Phase 2, and 6% for both phases on 2 Step Pro. The loss
limits are also active, so if your account breaches the
daily or max loss limit, the trial closes immediately.

Are the trading rules different from a regular account?

No. The model rules (leverage, commission, spreads, risk
limits, profit targets, and minimum trading days) are identical
to those on a standard 2 Step Standard or 2 Step Pro evaluation
account.
The only differences are that each phase expires after 14
calendar days from activation, and there is no path to a
Master Account regardless of how the trial concludes.

Are trial profits eligible for rewards?

No. Any profits generated in the Free Trial environment aren't
eligible for reward request. The trial is strictly
a testing environment.

Can I convert my trial into a real Evaluation Account?

No. The Free Trial cannot be converted into an evaluation
account or a Master Account under any circumstances. To begin
a real evaluation, you need to purchase a challenge separately.

Is the Free Trial available in currencies other than USD?

No. Free Trial accounts are denominated in USD only. All
paid Evaluation Accounts are also USD only.

How do I access the Free Trial?

Sign up with your name and email (skip this if you already
have a FundingPips account), choose 2 Step Standard or 2
Step Pro,
and pick your preferred account size. Your trading credentials
arrive instantly. From there, log in to MT5 using server
FundingPips-Trial.
