Goat Funded Futures FAQs

Several futures routes: the Sprint and Flex evaluation challenges, an EOD challenge, and Instant funding accounts (50K–150K). Plans are monthly subscriptions traded on NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower, and other platforms. You can create a GFF account for free at any time — no purchase is required to register.
GFF uses a maximum trailing drawdown that your equity cannot fall below at any point intraday. On funded accounts, once your balance reaches your starting balance the trailing drawdown stops moving and locks in place. The Instant accounts carry sized limits — for example roughly $2,500 daily / $5,000 max on the 50K and $4,500 / $10,000 on the 150K.
Not on the Flex and Sprint challenges — they have no daily loss limit on either the evaluation or funded stage. The EOD challenge is the stricter, more traditional format.
Up to 100% in the trader's favour, with an 80% base on the Instant line. Payouts are available every five winning days, where a winning day is a net P&L of at least 0.2% of your account balance, released in semi-monthly windows. Payout caps scale progressively by payout number and account size.
It caps how much of your total profit any one day can represent, and it varies by product: the EOD challenge is 50% in evaluation and 30% when funded, while the Sprint challenge has no consistency rule in evaluation and 30% funded. Importantly, it is only checked at the moment you request a payout — not in real time — so you have room to fix an imbalance before withdrawing.
During the evaluation there are no news restrictions. On a funded account a two-minute buffer applies around high-impact news events — you cannot open or close positions in that window.
No overnight holds — all positions must be closed before the session ends. Weekend holding is likewise not allowed. Microscalping is restricted too: profit from any trade closed within two minutes of opening is not eligible and is deducted from the account.
A hard breach is a serious rule violation — most commonly exceeding your maximum trailing drawdown. It results in the account being failed with no recovery.
