E8 Markets FAQs
Answers sourced from E8 Markets’s own help center.
You buy a one-time SimFi™ Challenge, and on passing it you move to a SimFi™ Performance (funded) account. E8 runs several product lines — E8 One, E8 Pro, and E8 Zero, across forex, crypto, and futures — traded on cTrader, Match-Trader, MetaTrader 5, and TradeLocker. Account sizes start at $5K.
The SimFi™ Challenge carries a 6% profit target with no minimum trading days and no time limit — you can take as long as you need. Individual plans vary slightly, with E8 One using a 9% target and E8 Pro an 8% target on their 1-Step routes.
Up to 80%, with on-demand payouts. Passing the challenge and following all the rules moves you to the Performance stage where withdrawals become available, subject to the Best Day consistency rule.
A consistency requirement on funded accounts: no single trading day may exceed a set share of your total profit — documented as 40% in some places and tightened to 35% in others, so treat it as roughly one-third and check your specific product. Trying to bypass it through hedging or partial closures can cause all profit from that position to be consolidated into a single day. After each payout your best-day figure resets and you start fresh. There is no consistency rule during the Challenge stage.
It depends on the account. On E8 Zero and E8 Pro (forex and crypto) you can trade news without restriction. On E8 One, news is unrestricted during the Challenge but strictly prohibited around high-impact events on the funded Performance account — during the blackout you cannot open or close positions on affected instruments. Break it and the related profit is deducted from your balance after your payout request. Non-targeted instruments stay tradable throughout.
1:30 on forex, 1:15 on indices and metals, and 1:1 on crypto. E8 deliberately keeps leverage modest and encourages traders to focus on drawdown and risk allocation rather than maximising leverage, since larger volumes raise the risk of a stop-out.
Copy trading is permitted across SimFi Challenge, Performance, and personal accounts, provided the accounts belong to you. EAs are allowed too, but only one strategy per user — if E8 sees multiple users running the same trades or strategy, that is a violation. Each account must otherwise be traded independently, with no cooperation between traders.
Risking your entire daily drawdown on a single trade, hedging across multiple accounts (even your own), high-frequency trading — you cannot hold more than 50% of your trades for under a minute — plus 'all-or-nothing' and other irresponsible, strategy-free high-volume trading. Breaking these leads to termination from the program and a refund of the fee on the offending account.
Up to $3,500,000 in simulated capital across your SimFi™ Performance accounts at once. Allocation is unlimited during the Challenge (Phase 1) stage, while each funded product — E8 One, E8 One Crypto, E8 Pro Forex, E8 Pro Crypto — is capped at $500,000.
You may hold multiple trading accounts, but only one user profile (E8X). Creating extra profiles under different emails, or trading accounts belonging to different people, breaches the terms. If you created a duplicate profile by mistake, contact support@e8markets.com to have it resolved.
Not routinely — an interview is not part of every challenge completion or payout. E8's risk team may occasionally request a short interview to understand your trading background, particularly where trading looks unusually risky.
