Lucid Trading is the closest MyFundedFutures alternative for traders who want a 90/10 split on every funded plan and a cheaper evaluation. A 50K LucidDaily evaluation lists at $138 to $166, while MFFU's Rapid 50K lists at $209. Both firms now charge a one-time fee with no activation fee. MFFU's strongest argument is verified volume: $15.29M in on-chain payouts over the last 30 days.

Rules and prices checked on each firm's official site on 9 Oct 2026.

Key takeaways

  • Both firms now sell evaluations for a one-time fee. MFFU dropped monthly billing for new purchases on 25 Aug 2026.
  • Lucid pays 90/10 on every funded plan. MFFU pays 90/10 on Rapid and Rapid EOD, and 80/20 on Builder and Pro.
  • At 50K, Lucid evaluations list between $138 and $192 before discounts. MFFU's list between $153 and $265. LucidDirect, which skips the evaluation, lists at $515.
  • MFFU can close a one-time account after 7 calendar days without a trade. Lucid's limit is 30 days.
  • MFFU's payouts are tracked on-chain ($15.29M in the last 30 days, a verified floor). Lucid's are not tracked, so there's no on-chain figure to compare.

Is Lucid Trading a good MyFundedFutures alternative?

Yes, for most MFFU plans. Lucid has a counterpart for MFFU's Rapid, Builder and Pro plans, with the same $3,000 target and $2,000 max loss at 50K. Lucid also sells a straight-to-funded account, which MFFU doesn't offer. The one MFFU plan without a clean Lucid match is Rapid EOD.

Lucid Trading is the better fit if you want 90/10 on every plan, a choice of risk settings at checkout, or a longer break between trades without losing the account. Our Lucid Trading account types guide walks through each plan in detail, and our Tradeify alternative comparison covers the same plans against Tradeify.

MyFundedFutures is still the better fit in four cases:

  • You want daily payouts with an end-of-day drawdown on the funded account, which only Rapid EOD offers.
  • You trade around news on Builder, where MFFU allows it.
  • You live somewhere Lucid restricts and MFFU doesn't.
  • You want a firm whose payout volume you can check on-chain.

How do MyFundedFutures and Lucid Trading prices compare?

Trader comparing the cost of two prop firm evaluations with a calculator and receipts

Lucid Trading is cheaper at most sizes before discounts. Both firms charge once per evaluation, with no monthly rebilling and no activation fee. For new MFFU purchases this changed on 25 Aug 2026, when the firm moved to a one-time payment model. Existing MFFU subscribers keep their old billing.

Lucid's price depends on the options you pick at checkout. Turning the daily loss limit (DLL) off costs more on every Lucid plan. LucidDaily also lets you choose the evaluation drawdown, and an end-of-day (EOD) evaluation costs more than an intraday one. The DLL-on prices below include a reduction Lucid labels as limited time.

Like for like, the gap is clear. A 50K Rapid costs $209 at MFFU, and the closest Lucid plan, LucidDaily, costs $108 to $166 depending on settings. The one place MFFU is cheaper is the 50K Builder at $153, against $167 to $192 for LucidPro. Builder pays 80/20, though, against LucidPro's 90/10.

Both firms advertise promotional prices on top of these list prices, and those change often. Our prop firm offers page shows the current verified discount for each firm.

Which firm has easier evaluation rules?

Trader pacing profits across several trading days to meet an evaluation consistency rule

Lucid Trading's evaluations have fewer hard requirements. No Lucid plan sets a minimum number of trading days, and LucidPro has no consistency rule at all. MFFU requires 1 to 4 trading days depending on the plan, and its Rapid EOD evaluation carries the strictest consistency rule of either firm, at 30%.

Plan (50K)Minimum daysEvaluation consistencyEvaluation drawdownDaily loss limitMax size
MFFU Rapid250%EODNone5 minis
MFFU Rapid EOD430%EODNone3 minis
MFFU Builder1NoneEOD$1,000 soft pause4 minis
MFFU Pro250% (none with the one-day add-on)EODNone5 minis
LucidProNoneNoneEODOptional, $1,200 soft4 minis
LucidFlexNone50%EODOptional, $1,200 soft4 minis
LucidDailyNone50%EOD or intraday (your choice)Optional, $1,200 soft4 minis

A consistency rule caps your best day as a share of total profit. With a 30% rule on a $3,000 target, no single day can count for more than $900. That's why MFFU says Rapid EOD takes at least 4 days. Lucid's 50% rules have a small cushion built in, so Lucid says LucidFlex and LucidDaily can be passed in two days. Breaking a consistency rule doesn't fail the account at either firm. You simply keep trading until the numbers line up.

Three rules matter after you pass:

  • Inactivity: MFFU can close a one-time account, including a sim funded one, after 7 calendar days without a trade, unless you tell support in advance. Lucid deletes accounts that go 30 calendar days without at least $1 of net profit or loss.
  • Session close: LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect positions are closed automatically at 4:45 PM ET on weekdays.
  • News: MFFU's Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro sim funded accounts don't allow tier-1 news trading, while Builder does. LucidDaily funded accounts must be flat from one minute before to one minute after high-impact USD news.

How do payouts work at MyFundedFutures and Lucid Trading?

Both firms offer daily payout requests on one plan each: Rapid at MFFU and LucidDaily at Lucid. Their other plans trade frequency for different limits. The bigger structural gap is the split, since Lucid pays 90/10 everywhere and MFFU pays 80/20 on Builder and Pro.

Funded plan (50K)SplitWhen you can requestMinimumMaximum per request
MFFU Rapid90/10Daily, from 24 hours after the first funded trade, once a $2,100 buffer is built$500No per-request cap published
MFFU Rapid EOD90/10Daily after the $2,100 buffer, then each time net profit since the last payout reaches $500$500No cap per cycle

LucidDaily90/10Any day, once profit clears a $2,100 buffer and is positive since the last payout$500Profit above the buffer
LucidFlex90/10After 5 days of $150+ profit and positive net profit in the cycle; no buffer$50050% of profit, up to $2,000; 5 payouts
LucidPro90/10Any day, after a $500 profit goal, a $2,100 buffer and a 40% consistency check$500$2,000 first, $2,500 after
LucidDirect90/10After a $3,000 profit goal ($2,500 from payout 2) and a 20% consistency check$500$2,000 (payouts 1 to 3), $2,500 (4 and 5)

Speed after the request is similar. MFFU says most payout requests are approved instantly, with manual reviews taking 6 to 12 business hours on weekdays. MFFU pays through Riseworks, where you can withdraw by bank transfer or crypto, and US traders can also use Plaid/ACH. Lucid deducts approved payouts within minutes and disburses them within 2 business days. Its options are Plaid for US traders, WorkMarket by ADP (bank or PayPal), and crypto. The LucidFlex payout rules are the simplest of Lucid's four plans.

On verified payouts, only one side of the comparison has data. Capital Critic tracks MFFU's payout wallets. In the 30 days to 9 Oct 2026, it recorded $15,292,686 across 9,649 payouts from MFFU. That's a verified on-chain floor: bank wire, card, PayPal and Plaid/ACH payouts aren't counted. Lucid's payout rails aren't tracked on-chain, so we can't publish a matching figure, and we don't estimate one. Our prop firm payouts tracker covers every firm we verify.

Live accounts, account limits and country restrictions

Both firms move strong sim funded traders to live accounts at their risk team's discretion, but the triggers differ. At MFFU, making $10,000 net profit in a single day on Rapid moves you live automatically. Any profit above $10,000 that day is forfeited, and up to $5,000 goes into a reserve. Builder traders become eligible after their 5th sim payout. Pro traders are reviewed after 3 consecutive payouts or a $20,000 profit milestone.

Lucid reviews traders after the 5th payout on LucidFlex, LucidPro or LucidDirect. LucidDaily traders are reviewed when they hit the plan's maximum daily profit, which is $8,000 at 50K. Lucid's live accounts start at a $0 balance with an EOD drawdown, daily payouts and no daily loss limit. Traders who would rather not trade live can take a cashout worth 50% of their live starting balance.

Verdict

For most MFFU traders, Lucid Trading is a strong alternative on cost and split. LucidDaily covers what Rapid traders use, with daily requests, an intraday funded drawdown and a 90/10 split, for $108 to $166 at 50K against $209. Builder and Pro traders get 90/10 instead of 80/20 on LucidPro. Lucid's 30-day inactivity limit is also gentler than MFFU's 7 days.

MFFU keeps three advantages. Rapid EOD pairs daily payouts with an end-of-day funded drawdown, which Lucid doesn't offer. The 50K Builder is the cheapest one-day-pass plan here. And MFFU's payout volume can be checked on-chain, at $15.29M in the last 30 days.

If daily payouts on an EOD drawdown or verifiable payout data are your priority, stay with MFFU. Otherwise, Lucid gives you more of each payout for a lower entry fee. For the full picture, see our Lucid Trading review and My Funded Futures review.
