FundingPips FAQs

No. Neither phase has a deadline, so you can take as long as you need to reach the profit target. The only clock that matters is activity: you must complete at least one closed trade every 30 calendar days, or the account is closed for inactivity.
You pick either an 85% or a 95% split when you buy the account, and both cost exactly the same. The choice is locked for the life of that account and cannot be switched afterwards, so it is worth deciding up front — the 95% option pays more but carries an extra profitable-day requirement before you can withdraw.
On the 85% split, 14 calendar days after your first executed trade on the Master Account. On the 95% split you must also record three profitable days within the cycle. The minimum request is 1% of your Master Account size, including FundingPips' share. If your reward date passes before you are ready, nothing is lost — once a cycle completes it stays available until you submit the request.
A day where your profit is at least 0.5% of your starting account size. Profitable days are what qualify you on the 95% split, both during the phases and when unlocking a reward.
Three limits run in parallel: a 3% daily loss measured from the higher of your opening balance or equity, a 5% maximum trailing loss that follows your highest recorded equity, and a 1% ceiling on open floating loss at any moment. Once the account is 5% in profit, the trailing floor locks permanently at your starting balance, so profits above that point are protected.
Yes. The violation is confirmed the instant your account value touches or crosses the limit, even briefly. It makes no difference if the position recovers or the trade later closes in profit — the rule was broken at that moment and the account stays breached.
During the evaluation phases, yes. On Master Accounts weekend holds are temporarily suspended — a change in force since 29 January 2026 — and the system automatically closes any open positions before Friday's close. That automatic close is not treated as a hard breach. Be aware that if a gap when markets reopen pushes you past the max loss limit, that breach does count.
Holding positions through a news event is allowed. What is restricted is deliberately opening or closing trades in the short window around a high-impact release to capture the spike — on the Master Account those profits are not counted, and the rule covers every order type. It applies only to the currency named in the announcement, and any trade opened at least five hours before the event keeps its profit even if it closes inside the restricted window.
The account locks immediately: open trades are closed, it drops to view-only, and your dashboard plus an email spell out which rule was broken and when. If the breach happened in a phase through trading behaviour or a risk-limit violation, an Evaluation Reset appears on your dashboard at a 10% discount and stays available for seven calendar days. It restarts you at Phase 1 — even if you breached in Phase 2 — at the same account size.
No. Resets are offered only when an account is breached through a trading or risk-rule violation. If yours closes after 30 consecutive days without a completed trade, the discounted reset does not apply and you would need to buy a new evaluation at full price.
You must be at least 18, and FundingPips does not accept traders resident in Iran, Vietnam, or the United Arab Emirates. Verification needs a government-issued photo ID, proof of address dated within the last three months, and a selfie. KYC is automated, and the compliance team contacts you by email only if a manual review is required.
Yes. A hard cap of 20 lots applies to any single trade, dropping to 1 lot per click on crypto, subject to available margin. A swap-free add-on is offered for traders observing Islamic finance principles.
