One-time-purchase crypto evaluations: a 1-Step in Standard, Pro, and Turbo variants (targets of 10%, 12%, and 9%), plus a 2-Step. Sizes start at $5K, and you trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, majors, altcoins, DeFi, and meme coins on the Breakout Terminal or DXtrade. Breakout is now a crypto-only firm and no longer offers FX.
Two equity limits run at once. The maximum daily loss is a daily equity floor, recalculated each day at 00:30 UTC from that day's opening balance. The maximum drawdown is a static overall limit set a fixed percentage below your starting balance that never moves. A breach occurs the moment your equity touches or falls below either limit, at which point all positions are closed automatically.
80% of profits, with a frequent payout cycle on the current model. No payout is available on a breached account.
No. Overnight holds are not permitted — positions must be closed within the session.
No to both. Evaluation fees are non-refundable for each attempt once trading begins, regardless of outcome, and there are no resets or refunds for a breach or a failed evaluation. You must keep your equity above both equity limits at all times.
Breakout keeps it deliberately light — beyond the equity limits and the no-overnight rule, it emphasises sound risk management rather than a long list of strategy restrictions, aiming to mirror trading your own capital.
Breakout has moved to a crypto-only model in partnership with Kraken. For existing traders nothing changes day-to-day — the same dashboard, rules, and payout flow, and you do not need a Kraken account to continue. Traders who held an FX evaluation or account have those closed, any gains paid out, and are offered a free crypto evaluation of the same size.
