The best perpetual prop firms for US traders right now are Propr, E8 Perpetuals, MyFundedPerps and Tradeify247. All four accept US residents, and a $100K 1-step evaluation costs between $488 and $999 at list price. They differ most on drawdown style, payout rails and how much on-chain payout history they have.

Rules, prices and country lists checked on each firm's official site on October 8, 2026.

Key takeaways

  • None of the four firms puts the United States on its restricted-country list. MyFundedPerps does exclude the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Tradeify247 doesn't offer MT5 to US clients.
  • E8 One is the cheapest $100K 1-step account at a $488 list price. Propr Classic 1-Step is the most expensive at $999.
  • Three of the four use a static drawdown on their main $100K plan. E8 One uses a dynamic drawdown that trails your balance until it locks at the starting balance.
  • Propr paid $1,153,860 across 1,786 on-chain payouts in the last 30 days, the most payouts of the four in our dataset.
  • Code CRITIC takes 40% off at Tradeify247, 50% at E8 Perpetuals until October 25, 2026, and 20% at MyFundedPerps. Propr has no code.

Which perpetual prop firms accept US traders?

All four do. Each firm publishes its own restricted-country list, and on October 8, 2026 the United States appeared on none of them.

  • Propr lists 30 restricted countries, plus three regions of Ukraine, in its trading rules, plus anywhere under OFAC sanctions. The US is not among them. Using a VPN from a restricted country ends the account with no refund.
  • E8 Perpetuals shares one list with E8's classic markets, published in its accepted countries article. The US isn't on it, and E8's terms say the platform's owner is based in Texas.
  • MyFundedPerps restricts 30 countries and regions. The US is accepted, but the U.S. Virgin Islands are on the list.
  • Tradeify247 restricts 29 countries by residency, not citizenship. US clients trade on DXTrade, because the firm doesn't offer MT5 in the US.

Why can a US trader buy one of these accounts when most offshore perps exchanges are closed to them? Every account here is simulated. You trade a copy of real prices, not real contracts, and the firm pays a share of simulated profit. For the full mechanics, see how perpetual funded accounts work.

The regulated side is opening up too. The CFTC's investor note on crypto perpetual contracts says these contracts grew up on offshore venues but can be offered on CFTC-regulated exchanges. Its May 29, 2026 policy statement set out how US exchanges can list them.

How do the four compare on price and rules?

At the $100K 1-step level, E8 One is the cheapest and Propr Classic 1-Step the most expensive. Price isn't the whole story, though: the targets and drawdown styles differ.

Propr Classic 1-Step$99910% ($10,000)3% of start-of-day balance6%Static80%

Each firm also sells cheaper $100K variants with different limits:

  • E8 Pro ($468): static 6% drawdown, 6% target, 2.5% daily loss limit and a 2% daily profit cap.
  • Propr Turbo 1-Step ($450): 9% target, with the max drawdown cut to 3%.
  • MyFundedPerps Select ($360): 9% target, 3% static drawdown.
  • Tradeify247 2-Step ($580): two phases (10%, then 5%) instead of one.

Cheaper plans usually buy you less room, so compare the drawdown in dollars before you compare the price. A 3% floor on $100K is $3,000 of room, half what the 6% plans give you.

Markets differ as well. Propr and E8 Perpetuals price their markets from the Hyperliquid feed. MyFundedPerps lists hundreds of perpetual pairs across crypto, stocks, commodities, forex and indices. Tradeify247 covers 100+ crypto pairs plus tokenized US stocks. For head-to-head detail, see MyFundedPerps vs Propr and Tradeify247 vs MyFundedPerps.

Which rules do US traders trip on most?

A trader realizing too late that the daily loss limit reset in the evening on a UTC clock

The rule that catches US traders most is the daily loss reset, because most of these firms reset on UTC, not New York time.

  • Daily reset times. Propr resets the daily limit at 00:00 UTC, which is 8:00 p.m. Eastern during daylight saving time and 7:00 p.m. in winter. Tradeify247 resets at 22:00 UTC (6:00 p.m. Eastern in summer, 5:00 p.m. in winter). MyFundedPerps resets at midnight New York time. An evening session can straddle two trading "days" without you noticing.
  • Open trades count. Propr, MyFundedPerps and Tradeify247 measure drawdown on equity, so a losing open position can breach the account before you close it. Holding costs count too: Propr debits or credits funding to your equity, and Tradeify247 charges a 0.033% daily swap at its 22:00 UTC reset.
  • Payout locks. At MyFundedPerps, your first withdrawal locks the drawdown floor at the starting balance, so profit you leave in the account becomes your only cushion. Tradeify247 applies the same lock only to Instant Funding; its 1-Step and 2-Step funded accounts keep the full 6% floor. At Propr, every payout sweeps all profit and resets the account to its starting balance.
  • Consistency and profit caps. Funded E8 One accounts have a 40% consistency rule: no single day can make up more than 40% of the profit in a payout request. E8 Pro uses a 2% daily profit cap instead. Propr, MyFundedPerps and Tradeify247's evaluation accounts have no consistency rule.
  • News windows. MyFundedPerps allows news trading during the evaluation. On funded accounts it blocks new exposure from 10 minutes before a high-impact release, such as CPI or Non-Farm Payrolls, and allows no manual trades from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after. Propr, E8 and Tradeify247 allow news trading.

How do payouts work, and what does the on-chain data show?

Propr made the most on-chain payouts of the four over the last 30 days, while E8 Markets paid the most in dollars across all its markets. These are our live figures, pulled from Capital Critic's payout tracker on October 8, 2026:

FirmPaid out, last 30 daysPayoutsNote
E8 Markets$1,499,980573Firm-wide: all E8 markets, not only perpetuals
Propr$1,153,8601,786Perpetuals only
Tradeify247$165,20048Crypto and tokenized stocks
MyFundedPerpsNot trackedNot trackedNo on-chain payout wallet identified yet

These totals are a verified on-chain floor. Payouts sent by bank wire, card or PayPal leave no on-chain record and aren't counted. A smaller total can also reflect a younger or smaller firm, not a weaker one. For firm-by-firm figures over time, see the weekly payout report for the week of September 28.

How each firm pays:

  • Propr pays on demand in USDC on-chain, with a $20 minimum and processing within 24 hours. Each payout sweeps all available profit. See our Propr review for the full rulebook.
  • E8 Perpetuals pays in cash or crypto. E8 One allows a first payout as soon as three days after funding, and E8 Pro pays daily. Our E8 Perpetuals review covers the configuration options.
  • MyFundedPerps takes one payout request per funded account per New York day, once you have $100 of gross cycle profit. Requests are reviewed manually and paid through Rise, or as store credit with a 10% boost.
  • Tradeify247 pays on demand through Rise or traditional methods. Funded 1-Step accounts have no minimum trading days; you can request a payout once you have $100 of withdrawable profit, with one open request at a time.

What does code CRITIC get you at each firm?

Code CRITIC takes 40% off at Tradeify247, 50% off at E8 Perpetuals until October 25, 2026, and 20% off at MyFundedPerps. Propr doesn't offer a code. Here is what that means for a $100K account:

Firm and $100K planList priceWith code CRITICDiscount
E8 Perpetuals, E8 One$488$244 (until Oct 25, 2026), then $439.2050%, then 10%
Tradeify247, 1-Step$838$502.8040%
MyFundedPerps, Signature$870$69620%
Propr, Classic 1-Step$999No code (referral link only)None

CRITIC doesn't stack on top of a firm's own sale. It matches the firm's best available offer, so check the final price at checkout. Prices were checked on October 8, 2026 and firms change them often; the current figures for every firm are on our prop firm offers page.

Verdict

There's no single winner; the right firm depends on how you trade.

  • Propr suits traders who want the most transparency and who trade with code. Every trader payout settles on-chain in USDC, and the API and SDKs make bots straightforward. It has the highest list price and no discount code.
  • E8 Perpetuals is the cheapest way into a $100K account and goes up to $500K. Mind the dynamic drawdown and the 40% consistency rule on funded E8 One accounts.
  • MyFundedPerps has the widest market list and resets on New York time, which is simpler for US schedules. It has no on-chain payout record we can verify yet.
  • Tradeify247 offers the most ways in (instant funding, 1-Step and 2-Step) and the largest discount, but its 30-day on-chain payout total is the smallest of the three we track.

Whichever you choose, treat the evaluation fee as money you can afford to lose. Most traders don't pass, and every account is simulated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can US traders trade perpetual futures with a prop firm?

Yes. Propr, E8 Perpetuals, MyFundedPerps and Tradeify247 all accept US residents, as of October 8, 2026. The accounts are simulated, so you trade a copy of real perpetual prices rather than real contracts on an exchange.

Which perpetual prop firm is cheapest for a $100K account?

E8 One at E8 Perpetuals, at a $488 list price, or $244 with code CRITIC until October 25, 2026. MyFundedPerps Select ($360) and Propr Turbo 1-Step ($450) are cheaper, but both cut the max drawdown to 3%.

Do these firms pay US traders in crypto?

Propr pays only in USDC on-chain. E8 pays in cash or crypto. MyFundedPerps and Tradeify247 pay through Rise, which supports bank transfers.

Can I trade MT5 at Tradeify247 from the US?

No. Tradeify247 doesn't offer MT5 to US clients. US traders use DXTrade, which runs the same programs.

Is the CRITIC code valid at all four firms?

It works at Tradeify247, E8 Perpetuals and MyFundedPerps. Propr has no code and offers a referral link instead. CRITIC never stacks with a firm's own sale; it matches the firm's best available offer.
